Carbon dioxide emissions calculator: diesel and petrol

This calculator works out how much carbon dioxide is released when you burn a certain amount of fuel. The figures are averages as the weights of diesel and petrol depend on a number of factors such as the temperature and the quality of the fuel.

You can use this to keep a track of how much CO2 you created per mile driven.
